Should you book a hotel on Walking Street?
If you are planning a trip to Angeles City, then you’ll probably spend most of your time at night near Fields Ave Walking Street.
That’s where you will find all of the best bars, nightclubs, restaurants and places to hang out.
There are slightly cheaper hotels further away from Walking Street, but you will spend time and money commuting back and forth between your hotel and the main strip.
It’s much more convenient to book a room at a hotel directly along Walking Street.
Do Angeles City hotels require guests to show ID?
Some hotels allow you to bring girls back without too many restrictions. More expensive hotels over $40 USD (2,000 php) will check ID and may require your guest to leave her ID at the front desk.
The problem is that some girls do not have IÐ so there are a few hotels who will deny entry with valid ID. Many Angeles City freelancer girls do not have a valid ID because they are either living in a poorer squatter area or perhaps underage.
Even if she shows a valid ID, she could have borrowed it from her sister or close friend. In my experience, I found it best to avoid hotels with very strict ID rules to avoid too many problems.
If you are really worried about safety then ask your girl to leave her ID at the front desk for extra security.
The Devera Hotel is a nice one. I had a room for 1700 PHP a night. They are guest friendly too! Its not on walking street but not so far as its across from the jeepney station.
