10 Simple Ways to Save An Extra $1,000 Per Month

10 Simple Ways to Make an Extra $1,000 Per Month

Not everyone is internet savvy nor do they want to make money online. That’s cool, so I’m going to share with you a bunch of EASY side hustles and jobs that you can easily get to boost your income.

Must Read Resources

Fellas, you need to start thinking and judging your income based on GOLD.

Yes, this is the secret to earning more money. Right now, Gold is selling at around $1,100 per ounce. Your goal is to start earning an extra 1 oz of gold per month. The more, the better.

How to get that extra 1k per month?

#1 – Overtime

Does your job offer overtime? While you are stuck in the matrix, you should always ask your boss for more overtime. You don’t want to waste your time at nightclubs, stripclubs, sleezy american women, watching too much TV.

Time is precious so spend it earning some more so you can travel better.

#2 – Cash back Rewards

Sign up for credit cards that provide cash back rewards. This can add an extra $1k per month to your savings if you spend a lot of money. I know some of you have great salaries so only use credit cards that give you some of that money back. Stop using bank issued credit cards that give you NOTHING. Only use debit cards from banks.

#3 – Quit Smoking and Drinking

As a longtime smoker, I never realized how much this impacted my health and wallet. If you smoke, please stop. You will save a lot of money plus feel MUCH better.

Not to mention you want to look GREAT when you travel. The better you look, the cheaper everything gets and you won’t need to spend as much money on food and women because they will often want to buy you!

If you need help quitting, then check out Alcohol Rehab and American Lung Association.

#4 – Microloans

There are websites like that let you lend money to people with a bit of interest. There are religious qualms, but some people REALLY need the money that you lend them. You are saving their family from homelessness or embarrassment. Microloans are very profitable and you could earn a nice side income with lots of little loans.

#5 – Craigslist

Craigslist is a goldmine for side income. I recently helped two people sell a camera worth $3k and a piece of furniture worth $500. Look around your house for stuff you never use and list it on Craigslist.

Take a good photo, write a good description, and always suggest the buyer pick up the item the same day. Be a bit aggressive because you are competing with other ads.

#6 – Childhood Pasttimes

Everyone talks about struggling to find a job, but there are many jobs available in your childhood past times. A few examples:

  • Basketball referee
  • Soccer coach
  • Selling old books to used book stores
  • Shoveling snow
  • Landscaping and yard work
  • Selling things on eBay

These niches are still alive with children who enjoy what you used to do as a child. There’s money to be made.

#7 – End toxic relationships

It’s the truth. Bad relationships and bad women can really hurt your bank account. I stopped contacting a friend who I always used to go clubbing with. This saved me a lot of money. I dropped another smoking buddy – more $$$.

Women make you overspend on clothing, shoes, gifts, and dinners to impress and keep her attracted. If she isn’t down to earth and frugal, then show her the door. Chances are she is probably not keeping it 100% anyway.

Choose better friends/women that don’t make you spend so much $$$.

#8 – Move back in with family

This is a touchy subject, but it can really boost your savings. Moving in with a relative could save over $1k per month in rent/mortgage. It’s great to have your own spot, but I rather save my money and travel.

Friends/Family only need a bit of money for rent thus saving you a ton!

#9 – Thrift Stores

Brand New Jordan’s cost $200 plus. You can get the same shoes at thrift stores for 90% off. My family never shopped at thrift stores, but I always loved them.

They wash and clean everything properly, and you can get brand name clothing for so cheap. Don’t be stubborn. Take the cash savings and put it towards your trip.

#10 – Teaching English Overseas

Lastly, I want to share what I am currently doing. I’m studying TEFL to become an English teacher. It’s a safety net because I make most of my income online.

I took a course at for only $150. Once you are certified, you can teach anywhere in the world and earn a good salary.

Language schools need native English teachers badly. Over 2 billion people want to learn English!
